I put a 35# KB in a back pack. R0M is no different than normal. Lost some time putting on and taking off pack, but I like it better than trying to jam a KB on my foot.

Full extension at bottom and chin over bar? Isn't that the crossfit standard? I'm really not sure what you usually do but I can picture you kipping. Can you kip with the weighted ones by using the pack?

You can get a kip. It's not as pronounced as a bodyweight pullup, but you can swing a bit.

You've got it on the standard, but I always try to get my entire head clear. I'll video some weighted pull ups soon.

I agree. Getting our entire head clear is a good yardstick for the uppper end of the ROM on pullups. I still can't kip like you. More practice is needed.
