Crap. Now John's raising the bar, no pun intended. I'll get it done this weekend and post my results. I'm nervous. Not a thruster fan (they're one helluva good lift I just don't do them that often) and I can't kip. Crap again.
Did this workout this morning. Started with the Thrusters. Total of 12 rounds 10 thrusters and 1 PU. First 4 rounds were done strict. Last 8 were done kipping. Probably would not have gotten past 6 rounds had they all been strict. Got 7 done in the first 10 minutes. 3 done in the next 5, then 2 in the last 5. Good workout, I got the blood blisters on my hands to prove it.

I don't know who that 6% body fat guy is in the photo but he looks motivated to me.
Maybe you should ask him about motivation, or better yet, ask the part of him that helped him get to where he is now.

Dealing with external forces is the easy part, dealing with yourself is where things get tricky.

The thrusters were easy but 90 traditional pullps TORE ME UP.

Bruce - Was it hard for you to learn the kip when you started? Any secrets other than what's online?
When you have a bar at height, it just comes naturally. Coy picked it up in about 2 WODs.

Man I always forget something. Thrusters were done with 95lb bar.
